Plastering and finishing
Skimming, patching, re-plastering and rendering. A wall that still reads flat under low winter light, not just flat at midday.
Polish attention to detail. Twenty years on English homes.
07599 729326Most room jobs go wrong in the gaps between trades. We do the plaster, the render, the paint and the floor ourselves, so there is one standard through the whole job and one person to ring if something is not right. Bournemouth, Poole and across Dorset.
Everything from the wall outwards. If a job needs plaster, paint and a floor, that is one quote, one crew and one date.
Skimming, patching, re-plastering and rendering. A wall that still reads flat under low winter light, not just flat at midday.
Preparation first: filling, sanding, and mist-coating new plaster the right way. Then two coats and edges cut in by hand.
LVT, laminate and herringbone laid on a subfloor that has been levelled first, and trimmed tight into the skirting.
Blown and cracked render cut out, re-rendered and floated to match, then the elevation painted so the repair disappears.
Studwork, boarding, recesses, concealed lighting, stone or timber cladding. Built square, wired before it is closed up, plastered sharp.
The jobs that pile up: cracked ceilings, leak damage, tired paintwork, doors that stick. Dealt with in one visit where we can.
Full refurbishments from strip-out to finished surfaces, somebody else's poor finish corrected, and projects built to an architect's spec as drawn.
Bournemouth homes, photographed as the jobs ran. Drag any slider to see the same room before and after. Nothing staged, nothing borrowed.

We are not the cheapest quote you will get, and we would rather say that here than on your doorstep. These are the figures most jobs start from, so you know before you pick up the phone whether we are in your range.
Labour, preparation, protecting the room and clearing up at the end. Materials are bought at trade rates and listed at cost on your quote.
Older houses, damp, high stairwells and period detail all take longer, so those jobs sit above the starting figures. You hear that at the visit, not on the invoice.
Almost always one of three things: preparation skipped, one coat instead of two, or a subcontractor nobody has worked with before.
Every figure we give is fixed before the first day on site. If something behind the wall changes it, we stop and agree it with you before carrying on.
You know the price before we start, the date we are coming, and exactly who is walking through your door.
WhatsApp is quickest. A picture of the wall, the room or the damage and we will tell you the same day whether it is a job we do.
A free visit at a time that suits you, evenings included. The price comes off your actual walls, not a guess over the phone.
A written price with the work set out line by line, and a start date we hold to. Materials sourced at trade rates.
We clear up and go round the job with you. Anything you are not happy with gets put right before we invoice.
An empty property costs you a day's rent for every day it sits. We turn flats and houses around between tenancies and keep them right while they are let.
Public liability cover on the work we carry out, and any trade we bring in is someone we have worked alongside for years.
Materials are bought at trade rates and listed at cost, so the saving lands on your invoice rather than in our margin.
If a job needs a trade we do not cover, we say so rather than take it on and hope.
GP Plastering is Greg Peczkowicz. Thirty years on the tools, the last twenty of them on English property — period houses, new builds, flats and rentals across Bournemouth and Dorset.
The trade was learned in Poland and the qualification taken here: a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering, awarded in 2012 by Edexcel. Thirty years is why the quote is realistic and the wall is flat. It is also why we would rather turn a job down than rush it. You get the same face on site every day, the work done in the right order, and a house you can still live in while it happens.
We only work with people we trust. The ones we would put in our own family's house.
Based in Bournemouth, working across the conurbation and the towns around it.
Further out than that? Ask anyway. Larger projects travel.
The six that come up on nearly every first phone call.
Small jobs usually within one to two weeks. Full rooms and refurbishments are typically booked three to four weeks ahead. Landlord voids and genuine emergencies we fit in where we can — ask, because the diary moves.
Four to six weeks to dry properly, longer through winter. It needs a mist coat first, thinned and worked in. Straight emulsion onto fresh plaster is why paint peels off in sheets a year later.
Yes, bought at trade rates and listed at cost on your quote. If you would rather buy your own, we will tell you exactly what to get and how much of it.
Yes. Greg holds a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering (Solid, Basic, Construction), awarded in the UK by Edexcel in 2012, on top of thirty years on the tools. You are welcome to see the certificate.
Yes. Public liability cover is in place for the work we carry out, and you are welcome to see the certificate before we start.
Yes. One cracked ceiling is still worth doing properly. Small jobs are priced against the day rate, which is why they can look expensive by the square metre — the setting up, mixing and cleaning down takes the same time either way.
Regularly. Void turnarounds, tenant-reported repairs and rolling maintenance across portfolios, invoiced monthly if that suits your accounts.
Send a photo of the job on WhatsApp and you will usually have an answer the same day. The visit is free, and there is nothing to sign at the end of it.
